ART BY VZADE™
Victoria Zade was set on becoming an artist at a very early age. The self-taught artist first gained recognition in 2011 as her work won the Invitational Award at the Philip & Patricia Frost Art Museum Exhibit , “Creative Visions.” Her work reaches people viscerally and since then, she has explored existentialism and human duality while developing a visual language that captivates a diverse group of art lovers.
Victoria Zade is an emerging artist based in the International Art District of Miami, Florida. Her unconventional style of painting allows her to build layers, texture, contrast, and vibrancy into each of her pieces. Combining this with her passion for using mixed media to make depth and color for her work, it has enabled her to develop compelling structures.
“There is something integral about the feeling that the piece gives at different distances. This adds new dimensions not only to the piece itself, but also to the interior space in which the piece is hung. I love when people get their own unique experience from my work as well. When it creates a new feeling, or brings up a familiar one, it’s an experience that is entirely their own. I believe that also adds to the richness and quality of art in general, and in my work. The true intention behind it is not just my vision for it, but what others get out of it themselves. My inspiration draws from the invisible forces of nature and reality around us and within us - these forces that not only intertwine, but need each other in order to exist.”
