What can I expect after I place my order?

Ordering custom branded marketing materials is quick and easy. We can offer professional design, or you can send us your artwork directly. Select your quantity, and submit your payment. What happens next?

1. A real, live human will work with you on the artwork proof prior to production. Look out for your proof within 2 business days after your order is submitted.

2. Once you review your artwork proof, submit any needed edits to your design associate who will then reproof the design. We work with you until you are 100% satisfied with your design.

3. Once you approve of your artwork proof, your order will be sent to production. Your lead time begins after we receive your digital proof for approval.

4. Once your order is produced according to its lead time, it will be shipped in accordance to the transit method selected at checkout.

What really happens when you throw away paper items, like business cards?

The business card is mixed with other greasy waste and gets dumped. The result is paper waste just sitting in landfills to rot—which emits methane. Yet the top emitter of pollutants is the oil industry, and print waste results in a global 1% contribution to our carbon footprint.

On a global scale, it might be more effective for the world to rely on efficient, solar-powered public transport systems rather than focus on recycling. But on a local scale, if you anticipate your card will be thrown away after a short period of time, printing it on recycled paper extends the amount of time before the waste gets added to methane-producing paper landfills.

According to The World Counts, the global consumption of pulp and paper is expected to double by the year 2060.

These small steps are what we must take together to stop these eco-harmful practices and form the new status quo that the future will rely on.

How is paper recycled?

Whereas virgin papers are cut direct from trees and processed heavily to a pulp, for recycled papers the waste is cleaned, paper is separated from non-recyclable fibers, and made into pulp once again. Recycled paper systems work alongside virgin paper systems, and integrates wooden chips from the leftover bits of trees from the virgin paper systems, as well as additional virgin paper fibers into the recycled pulp for added strength and texture.

It's true.

So that might make you ask - then why even bother recycling paper? If we already need to keep making virgin fibers, does that mean that we will always be damaging our planet?

That’s not so true.

Slowing down bad practices is more sustainable than continuing bad practice.

In this moment, even the waste that virgin paper mills create is added to the current recycled paper system.

That means everything you purchase has already been part of a larger recycling system, it’s all a matter of which side of the curve you’re on. The upward slope of unsustainable manufacturing, or the slow descent of reusing and repurposing to prolong the rotting waste as long as possible.

  As it becomes more commonplace to use recycled papers and less wasteful alternatives, funding for these better practices will increase.
